Healing in Body, Soul, and Spirit
Healing in Body, Soul, and Spirit
May 28
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 8:18
Healing in Body, Soul, and Spirit O precious Holy Spirit, rain down upon us today. Heal the body, soul, and spirit of each one of your children. We pray for total healing. Have you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour? Are you a child of God? Do you love God? Do you walk in His ways? Are you filled with His Holy Spirit? If so, you are meant for signs and wonders. Though it is God’s plan for you to be a wonder in this generation, many of us are far from that mark. Right now, many Christians do not feel wonderful because they are sick in body, soul, or spirit. They lack joy; their hope is lost; they do not even understand why they are still alive. They live with pain, having been rejected by people they love. But today I pray that the Holy Spirit will visit you where you are and give you total healing. Father God Almighty, I ask that in your mercy and in your love you release your children from captivity. Free them from all captivity that is causing sickness in their bodies, souls, and spirits. Father God Almighty, contend with those who contend with your children. Free them from everything that holds them in bondage, even bondage caused by youthful lust. Break all soul ties. Break all bondages, for the children of God are for signs and wonders. Let there be liberty in the spirit. I bind and cast out any evil spirit that has been assigned against the lives of the children of God. Let there be liberty in the body. Heal each one of all physical sickness in the name of Jesus Christ your only begotten Son, our Redeemer and Saviour, and the lover of our souls. Rain down your Holy Spirit so that your children can be healed. Prayer Points: If you desire to be a wonderful child of God, you must give your life to Jesus. Pray with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, and heal me totally so I can become a wonder in my generation, in Jesus’ name.” Amen. Father God, give us the grace to be healthy enough to manifest your desire that we become signs and wonders. Heal everything that is sick in our bodies, souls, and spirits so that we can truly live again. Rain down the Holy Spirit upon our lives and then let the Holy Spirit reign in us so that we can be who we are meant to be. |
How to Seek the Lord
How to Seek the Lord
May 29
Scripture Reading: Amos 5:4, 6, 8
How to Seek the Lord Holy Father, I pray in the name of Jesus that you give us the grace to seek you and find you and live. Let your people live so that they can declare your good works. Do you remember the first time you lost your parents in a crowded place like a train station or an amusement park? You probably searched frantically for them and then burst into tears, feeling abandoned. Losing your parents when you are a child is a frightening experience. How much worse would it be when you feel separated from your heavenly Father! Without God’s presence, this world is indeed frightening. The only way to survive these difficult times, this evil day, is to seek God. The Lord has made it clear to us that we should seek Him and live. Let us explore three practical ways that we can seek God today. Dwell in the secret place of prayer Worship Apply the blood of Jesus God first told His children to apply the blood upon their doorposts for their deliverance from death. Even today, the Word of God remains the same. The blood is still as powerful. Begin to seriously plead the blood daily. Beloved seek God early. Meditate on Him. Esteem His Word; consider it to be more necessary than food. Read at least a chapter of the Bible per day. Apply the blood. Dwell in the secret place of prayer and praise. Dwell in the secret place of ministry. Wise people seek God. I pray that God will give you the wisdom to seek Him. Job in his day of trouble, in his evil day, did the wise thing and sought God. “Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat,” Job 23:3. Prayer Points: Today, we are not in Job’s position; we can find God through Jesus Christ, the living Word of God. So if you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood and write my name in the book of life.” Father God, pour your Spirit into our lives in a fresh measure and give us the grace to seek you so we will stay alive during this evil day. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen. |
Let All the People Praise The Lord
Let All the People Praise The Lord
May 30
Scripture Reading: Psalm 67
Let All the People Praise The Lord Father God, we thank you for the reality of your Presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. We bless you for the priviledge of a relationship with you. We thank you, O living God, for the hope of your Word. “God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him,” Psalm 67. When Christians are asked, “How are you?” we often automatically reply, “Blessed.” But what does it mean to be blessed? The foundation of being blessed by God is mercy: not human merit, but God’s mercy. The psalmist, therefore, requests God’s mercy and blessings upon us, and also that God cause His face to shine upon us. When God blesses us, we actually begin to resemble him and glow. People will look at you and say, “You’ve got your Father’s eyes” or “There’s this glow about you.” You will shine, just as Moses shone after God graciously met with him and renewed His covenant with Israel in Exodus 34:27–30. Why will God cause His face to shine upon you? The psalm says that God will bless you so that His way and His saving health may be known all over the earth. The psalmist encourages literally “all the people” to praise God. All peoples should be brought in to worship God. The psalmist goes on to say that when all the people praise God, the nations will be glad and sing for joy and God will judge the people righteously. The earth shall then yield its increase. There are blessings of increase linked to a people praising God. Therefore, it is important for us to forget about our denominations and come together in corporate worship where all the different types of people God created praise God. Prayer Points: If you have never given your life to Jesus, but you want to receive these blessings, pray with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I forsake my sins. I surrender my life to you. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Write my name in the book of life and give me the born- again experience to the glory of your Holy Name.” Heavenly Father, let all the saints, all the people, be lifted up from their slumber to come together and worship you. Let all the gates be lifted up. Lift the sheep gate, that your elect may come in. Lift up the fish gate, so that those who are meant to be brought into the Kingdom, be brought in to worship you. Let the old gate restore true worship, so not our personal entertainment, but you, are the total focus of worship. Bring the valley gate: those who are the depressed, up to the mountaintop as they worship. May all the other gates: the dung, fountain, water, horse and east gates be opened so that all your people will come to worship Your Majesty. And let the earth yield her increase in the lives of all worshippers. Bless us so that all the ends of the earth shall know of your miraculous and gracious ways and fear you. |
Levels of Relating to God
Levels of Relating to God
May 31
Scripture Reading: John 3:16
Levels of Relating to God Father God, thank you for loving us so much that you gave your Son, so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. Give us the grace to improve our relationship with you to the glory of your Holy Name. Many of us recall the twists and turns in our personal relationships. Every relationship goes through stages and our walk with God is no different. There are seven levels of relating to God: Mystery and ignorance Salvation Witnessing His acts and power Knowing God Believing God Serving God When you know God for yourself and you believe Him totally, you can serve Him with total obedience. Many of us are serving God with partial obedience because we do not really know Him yet. We have been saved by Him and have seen His mighty acts, but we still do not know Him personally through internalizing His Word. I pray that God will upgrade you in your relationship with Him so that you may serve Him with total obedience. Worshipping God At what level are you today? Our relationship with God is not static. Desire to grow in intimacy with Him. I pray that you will experience a divine upgrading in Jesus’ name. Prayer Points: Are you at level one, where you do not know God but desire to know Him? The day of ignorance and mystery has ended. I pray that the living God will save your soul today. Pray with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour. I confess and forsake my sins. I receive salvation by the atonement of your blood at Calvary.” Father God Almighty, in your mercy, raise us up in our relationship with you. Deliver us from ignorance, so we may sing of your amazing grace. Draw us to you and give us the grace to internalize your Word and know you personally. In your faithfulness, show yourself to us like you showed yourself to Moses and give us the grace to believe in you with increased faith. Help us to serve you with total obedience. We pray for a divine upgrading toward becoming spiritual worshippers in Jesus’ name. |
